Granite worktops can be difficult to work on site, so we offer a full range of manufacturing processes carried out in our production facility. Using the latest CNC technology and skilled operators, we are able to achieve finishes that are not available to on-site installers, allowing you to offer your customers the best quality fit at competitive rates.

Sinks and Taps

We can offer competitive prices on sinks and taps from Franke and other leading brands. Please ask for details.
If you require a cut-out for a sink, please ensure that we have the make and model number of the sink, so that we can program our CNC machine correctly.

Undermount sinks: Please make sure you ask your customer if they want a reveal, flush or overhang finish on their sink, so that we know what type of cut-out to apply. Some sinks can only have one style of fitting; the sink manufacturer will advise if this is the case.

Fitting: Undermount sinks can be heavy, especially when full of water and utensils. We advise that they are supported using a cradle arrangement, and do not advocate the use of small metal fixing lugs or expanding fixings, which can both cause spalling of the granite. Our fitters will make the first fix using silicon adhesive, but you are responsible for ensuring that an adequate support is installed to prevent movement.

Taps: Our standard tap hole is to suit a 35mm tap. If you require a different size, please tell us, and ask for a revised price.

Hobs

Unpolished cut-outs are priced as for sinks.
We can also machine rebated unpolished cut-outs for recessed and flush hobs. When setting up the machine to do this work we need to have the hob in our production unit to ensure a good fit. During installation, the hob will drop below the worktop surface, and you will need to level it during fitting. The gap around the hob will then need to be sealed with silicon sealant.
